They eventually split up the company and my father opened Blue Flame Gas Company in Griffin, Georgia in October 1966.  He took on a partner, Joe Steele, in 1972 and I became a partner in 1977.  I purchased Joe's shares in 1993 and today own the company along with my brother, Dan Harwell.

We still strive to give you the same personal service that we have since my father first opened the company.  Today we have three offices, in Pike, Henry and Upson county.  We serve 15 counties in the South Metro Area.  We have 15 employees who have an average of 10 years experience.  All have local training as well as complete training offered through the Georgia Propane Gas Association.
